Anybody who tries to tell you that coal can be "clean" is either lying or they are totally ignorant. Capturing CO2 and sequestering it underground is basically impossible. Also, the act of "cleaning" coal emissions would make burning coal for electricity MUCH more expensive than generating electricity with wind turbines.
