Trying to sell |
|
Tue, Feb 02, 2010, 5:17:24 PM |
I am trying to sell my shares of Energy XXI (EXXI) but the program tells me that the symbol EXXI does not exist. It must exist because I was able to buy it and my portfolio reflects that purchase. Can you please sell off all shares of EXXI for me and credit my account?
Thank You.

BRK-B |

Thu, Jan 28, 2010, 3:23:16 PM |
PROBLEM
I purchased 9 share of BRK-B 3,382.00 equalling $30,438.00. When the stock split my profile reflects that I had 9 shares at roughly $71.00 dollars a share. equalling $639.00. Therefore as a result of the spliting shares i lost roughly $30,000.00. This is not a correct reflection and i would like the issue addressed if possible. Thank you for your assistance in this matter |

ALL STOCK DISAPPEARED!! |
|
Tue, Jan 12, 2010, 6:15:53 PM |
|
Suddenly, all my stock is GONE. I did not sell my shares! Bought about $70,000 worth in late december, everything was showing just fine, but the last two times I logged in, my holdings are zero and account value is back to $100,000. It's like I am starting from scratch, except for my trade history - it is still showing that I bought $70,000 worth of stock. BUT ITS NOT THERE!!!!! HELP! |

Macbook problems |

Sun, Jan 03, 2010, 1:03:50 PM |
Hello Barry,
I am not sure if this has been brought to your attention previously and if it has I apologize for being a nuisance. I can access your site on a pc, but not a mac. Since i do my studies all on a macbook, i would love to be able to access your site on a mac. The main problem is I can logon to the homepage, and my profile, but i can't expand my stuff and see my stocks.
Thanks

Transaction Price |
|
Sun, Jan 03, 2010, 8:58:37 PM |
Hi Barry,
I see you mentioned in the discussion post "Price error" on Sept. 16, 2009 that our trades use prices from 20min before the trade time, i.e. when we submit the trade. But I just bought shares of BIOF to cover a short sell at 11:24 this morning at $3.37 / share according to my Trade History page, but when I submitted the trade 20 minutes earlier I was told I'd be buying them at $3.07. Normally this 20 minutes difference is fairly insignificant, but in this it case be 10% of stock price. If you're going to keep this setup, can you at least give us the option to cancel our transactions up to a couple minutes before it goes through, since clearly in this case I would never have covered my short sell after the stock went up 10%. Personally, however, I think using the share price from when the transaction is submitted is a better idea.
If you don't have time to update this, I recommend you at least add a comment to every time a transaction is confirmed by the user to note that the price / share that will be used isn't what is listed there, but what will be listed in 20 minutes. The format now that states "buy x shares of abc at $xx.xx / share for $yy.yy" clearly implies that $yy.yy is the exact cost of the transaction, when it really isn't. |
