I wrote a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program which calculates some GE stock price statistics. The program calculates and displays data pertaining to the rate of return of simulated random stock purchases of GE stock as a function of the length of time the stock is held. The program uses data for GE stock prices for the period from 1962 to 2007 obtained from Yahoo! Finance.
